Coronation Street has released an explosive first look at the upcoming March episodes.
In the dramatic trailer, it sees David Platt and Rob Donovan at the centre of the action on the cobbles next month.
With a shocking hit and run and an armed siege, the drama surrounding David and Rob in February is set to continue.
The hit ITV soap has teased that with David's guilt about son Max Turner facing a lengthy jail sentence for setting fire to the Platt’s home in order to pay off his dad's debts, he makes the dramatic decision to take his own life, by hiring a hitman to mow him down.

However, sadly, it's not just David caught up in the hit and run as pregnant Daisy Midgeley finds herself also hit by the car in devastating scenes.
In the trailer, it sees a sombre David confess: "I know I will die today, killed by a hitman."
It then cuts to the shocking moment Shona Platt witnesses her husband hit by a speeding car and left for dead at the end of the cobbles.
Spoilers also reveal that after hearing the crash, Nick Tilsley, Sarah Platt, Daniel Osbourne, Jenny Connor and Kit Green rush out of the Rovers to find David and Daisy seriously injured.
In heart-wrenching scenes, Shona attends to David but it's evident he's bleeding profusely as Kit dials for an ambulance.

Concurrently, Jenny and Daniel hurry to Daisy's side, pleading with her to regain consciousness, concerned for her unborn child.
In a flash forward scene, soap fans will see David in hospital fighting for his life. Meanwhile, later in the week, the residents are left in shock as they hope that David and Daisy will recover.
Could David be written out after nearly 35 years on the cobbles and with Daisy actress Charlotte Jordan set to depart the cobbles soon, could she meet a tragic end too?
Elsewhere in the trailer, viewers discover that Rob was not killed in his fall at the warehouse and he will return to the cobbles in March to seek out his sister Carla Connor and demand she helps him escape.
With armed police surrounding the house, will Carla and Lisa escape? As a shot rings out, who is the latest victim of Rob’s desperate bid to be a free man?
Coronation Street is on ITV1 at 8pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and on ITV X and STV.
