Emmerdale's latest gripping storyline left viewers on the edge of their seats as Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) confronted the makeshift grave of her father in the woods. Fans of the ITV soap are familiar with the harrowing tale; Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), thinking he'd killed abuser Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) faced a shocking twist when it was revealed that Ruby, Anthony's own daughter and one of his victims, actually dealt the fatal blow.
Ruby's actions inadvertently involved several others, including Aaron's boyfriend John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), who disposed of the body. This led to a network of deceit involving Ruby's husband Caleb Miligan (William Ash), and Dingle family members Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Cain (Jeff Hordley).
The cover-up saw Chas doubting John's loyalty, causing Aaron to demand the location of Anthony's body – a confrontation that led John to summon the group to a remote woodland area where he finally disclosed the burial site.

On an emotionally charged Thursday (February 27), Ruby stood over the grave, releasing a flood of feelings as she uttered the words: "You deserve something, prison, may be you deserved to die even but an unmarked grave in the woods."
Moments after, an emotional Ruby, gazing into the heavens, exclaimed: "You did this to yourself, and I hate that I feel guilty. Everything you did, and you're the one at peace, and I'm an even bigger mess than I was."
As Ruby dealt with her escalating turmoil, Cain appeared advising her to remain silent about Anthony's murder and to open up to her husband, Caleb, about her emotions.
Yet, avid Emmerdale watchers suspect someone will inadvertently catch Ruby screaming at her father's grave, eventually leading to her arrest over his death, reports Leeds Live.

An individual on a social media platform remarked: "Ruby will keep going back there until someone hears her and alerts the police."
Another elaborated: "Random dog walker hearing Ruby shout 'YOU DID THIS TO YOURSELF', 'what the have I done? !' #Emmerdale."
A third added their thoughts: "I think Ruby's chances of getting away with killing Anthony are slipping away. #Emmerdale.
"Ruby will give it away when she starts laying flowers on the grave #Emmerdale", someone else contributed.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV and ITVX
