A series of dedicated matchdays to support Leicester City's nominated charities for the 2024/25 season have been announced. Heartwize, LOROS, Rainbows, and Leicester Hospitals Charity will all take centre stage at the King Power Stadium over the next few months.

The four charities will benefit through The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation - set up in honour of the late Leicester City chairman and owner, Khun Vichai. The special matchdays will see supporters given the opportunity to learn more about the charities and the life-changing work they do in the local community. Plus, they can contribute donations.

This will be done through in-stadium engagement, fundraising initiatives, and visibility across club channels. With each charity given a platform to highlight their invaluable impact on Leicestershire and beyond. The first event, to support Heartwize, took place on Friday (February 21) during the Foxes' match against Brentford.

The remaining three events will take place as follows:

  • Leicester City vs Manchester United (Sunday, March 16) - LOROS Hospice
  • Leicester City vs Liverpool (Saturday, April 19) - Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People
  • Leicester City vs Southampton (Saturday, May 3) - Leicester Hospitals Charity

Susan Whelan, chief executive at Leicester City, said: "The club has a very proud history of supporting important community causes, repaying the faith and the backing of our communities by celebrating and raising funds for charities that make an enormous difference to the lives of people in Leicestershire. It was the very reason we created The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation and will continue to be its guiding principle.

"The charities chosen by the Foundation’s trustees for this season each have a special relevance to the club, through a combination of our supporters, our players, and our staff. Each provides a very special and meaningful service to the people of our city that can touch the lives of any of us at any time. It’s our hope that, in the months ahead, we can bring valuable attention to their work and raise important funds that can help it to continue."

Further details on each charity's dedicated matchday will be shared in the lead-up to their respective fixtures. Note all fixture dates are subject to change.
