A man has suffered serious injuries after a collision on a Leicestershire road. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, with police appealing for dashcam footage from passers-by.
The collision happened at around 9.45pm on Monday (February 24) on Croft Hill Road, Croft. Police said the incident involved a white Vauxhall Corsa which collided near to the junction of Thurlaston Lane and Huncote Road.
Officers believe the Corsa was travelling along Croft Hill Road in the direction of Huncote, near Blaby, when the crash happened. The single occupant of the vehicle - a man - is now being treated at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for serious injuries.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for witnesses to come forward. They are particularly keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle beforehand.
"If anyone was driving in the area and has dashcam footage we would urge them to contact us," a spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said.
